Massive Pop Warner player drops across the nation...

In what could possibly be Pop Warner’s worst player participation numbers in history, the Power House youth football league finds itself with another black eye. With the yearly paper work deadline coming and going October 10th the players dropped report was issued and it was astounding to say the least. With well over 200 participants dropped from the list from numerous organizations from the Peninsula alone. The magnitude of the drops cannot even be comprehended at the time, but one official that has been with the organization well over 16 years said he has never seen anything like this. Some say that the scare of concussions is from big equipment investors and that alone has kids fearful of the game, and with high registration prices and a struggling economy sign ups have struggled. Now the kids that have signed up have been dropped for every issue from progress reports not turned in to paper work not dated correctly. The numbers for the rest of the nation has not been released but I can tell you that it can only get worse. This will make for interesting Florida scenario and I will be there for every play. So if I don’t see you before...

"See you after the game."
